I’m Stevie, a fun and down to earth documentary wedding photographer based in Yorkshire. I’ve been photographing non-traditional weddings full time for 4 years now and shot my very first wedding back in 2011! I well and truly love my job, so much so, that the majority of time it doesn’t feel like work at all! I’m happy travelling round the country and even popping over to Europe – no place is too far!
It’s extremely common for wedding guests to assume I’m a friend of the couples – which I think is bloody amazing! I love building great relationships with my couples before their wedding day as it helps to get those relaxed, natural shots that we’re all after. Plus, who doesn’t want more friends?!
Specialising in intimate weddings and elopements, I absolutely adore adventurous, outdoorsy, unconventional weddings. I get super excited by cute rustic barns, fun festival weddings, photo bombing animals (ALPACA WEDDING!!) and pizza trucks! Honestly, I’m worse than a kid in a sweet shop!
I’m thrilled to have my work featured on some of the top UK wedding blogs, including Festival Brides, Boho Weddings and Whimsical Wonderland Weddings. I’ve also been lucky enough to have a 3 page spread in Your Yorkshire Wedding magazine for the Botanical Inspiration Shoot.

A BIT ABOUT ME
I genuinely believe I have HOD – that’s holiday obsession disorder. My 2019 bucket list (or wanderlist) includes Stockholm – to see Swedish House Mafia, Ukraine – to see Chernobyl, and Iceland – to see a plane wreck! Might try squeeze Ibiza in too.. because, you know.. beach.
I have an unhealthy relationship with dyeing my hair. I’ve tried every colour under the sun, including green! I think blue’s my favourite..
I’m currently in the process of turning my office into a jungle, and to be fair, I probably still will be 2030. I need all of the foliage!
I live with my fella, Alex and my beautiful cats, Jeff and Georgia. Jeff’s a 5.5kg whinge bag and Georgia’s a crazy little squirrel/lemur hybrid.
We both live a vegetarian lifestyle but now on the brink of veganism. We’re in it for the animals and very much against animal cruelty! We are even getting into the whole eco thing too!
I never had dreams of becoming a wedding photographer when I was younger – actually I wanted to be a professional dancer. Couldn’t be happier being self employed though.. this things the shizz!
If there’s one thing you should take away from this, it’s that I’m a cat AND a dog person 😀
