Foxholes Farm Wedding Photography
Back in May I took my first trip to the Foxholes Farm wedding venue for Sophie and Vin’s outdoor wedding and it didn’t disappoint! Just a 45 minute drive from Huddersfield, you could say it’s local! The venue has cottage accommodation onsite, as well as a large marquee overlooking the Bradfield area. It’s most suited to outdoorsy couples looking for a relaxed affair.
Sophie and Vin decided that a relaxed, marquee wedding was totally what they wanted way before they even got engaged! Whilst running in the area they spotted Foxholes and from then on envisioned planning a festival style wedding there. They managed to bring together everything they loved about Sheffield, as well as each other!
Personal Church Wedding in Bradfield
Sophie and Vin chose to sort the official bits at St Nicholas’ church in High Bradfield, just 2 miles from Foxholes Farm. If you look closely you can actually see the church from the venue and vice versa! Their ceremony was made super personal when Vin played one of their hymns on the organ himself! After the ceremony guests enjoyed tea and biscuits before making their way over to Foxholes for the marquee reception.
Outdoor Festival Wedding in Sheffield
To bring their festival wedding to life, the couple had chosen to have loads of local wild flowers, which looked beautiful on the tables. They also provided lawn games for the guests and plenty of hay bales for seating. To top it off, the couple hired catering van, Pie Eyed. The pies were delicious!
Sophie and Vin – thank you so much for inviting me to be part of your relaxed, marquee wedding. It was perfect! Big thanks to Katie Byram for second shooting too!
