Marsden Engagement Photography

I met with Charlotte and Nathan earlier this month for their Marsden engagement session. The couple wanted to include their cats, Merlin and Oreo in some of the images first. Of course, being a cat lover I agreed! Merlin was more than happy to be in front of the camera playing with his toys, but unfortunately the same can’t be said for little Oreo! I still managed to sneak some images in though 🙂

After the black and white cats had their moment of fame we headed out the door into Marsden village, West Yorkshire. It was such a pity it rained the whole time, but this was just an excuse to head into a coffee shop nearby and take a few intimate shots until it had calmed down a bit. We also had a wander on the canal and by the village church. Like many of my couples, the pair are quite shy in front of the camera, so being silly was the way forward for bringing them out and making them feel comfortable.

East Riddlesden Hall Wedding

Charlotte and Nathan have booked their wedding at East Riddlesden Hall, Keighley this summer. After photographing a wedding at this super barn venue last year, I’m really looking forward to going back! I have a feeling the day is going to be amazing. Even better if there’s no downpours like the first time! I don’t think Merlin and Oreo will be making an appearance on the day (booooo!) but I’m sure they will have a part to play somewhere! This is pretty much guaranteed if your a cat lover like me!

Charlotte and Nathan, I loved meeting you and your little family. I genuinely can’t wait for your big day! Here’s a selection of my favourite images!
