The Mill Barns Wedding Photography
I was so excited when I got the booking through from Jody and Matt to photograph their Mill Barns wedding back in 2018. I had a quick stalk of the Shropshire venue when their initial enquiry came in and it’s safe to say it looked amazing! The couple said “We’re looking for a relaxed photography style, capturing moments between our loved ones”. This is certainly my way of working! I loved chilled out garden or barn weddings for this reason. Everyone milling about just having a really nice time.
The Mill Barns is a purpose built, exclusive use, wedding venue and sits on top of a former water mill site. The huge windows provide tonnes of natural light – a photographer’s best friend, whilst the gardens give plenty of space and a pretty backdrop.
West Midlands Wedding Photographer
Although I’m based in Yorkshire, I do love a good road trip! This was my second trip to the West Midlands for a wedding in 2019 (see the first here – Curradine Barns wedding) and I’m really looking forwards to booking more in 2020. It’s a good chance to visit new wedding venues, as well as new towns and places to eat. I tend to drive down with the fella the day before, stay overnight local to your wedding venue or prep venue and then drive back the day after – after a good ole mooch around 😉
Thank you so much Jody and Matt for inviting me to be part of your fab Mill Barns wedding. Here’s a few of my favourites!
