New Craven Hall Wedding Photography
I’m super excited to share with you Emily and Fraser’s New Craven Hall wedding photography. I’ve wanted to shoot at this place ever since they opened, so when their initial enquiry came in, my eyes lit up! The two of them got engaged around a year before the wedding in Scotland!
New Craven Hall is situated just off the M621 in Leeds, so very easy to access and only a 25 minute drive from Huddersfield! Their large, open plan space is perfect for couples who have quite a big guest list and means nobody can get lost! The exposed brickwork, large metal beams, fairy lights and industrial setting is very “in” right now and totally up my street! The couple chose to marry here as the venue is very flexible in requests. They were allowed to decorate the venue themselves, which is ultimately what they really wanted!
Leeds City Centre Wedding
Emily and Fraser chose to tie the knot at their place of work and somewhere very special to them, St Luke’s Chapel inside the Leeds General Infirmary. The two of them initially met at work and are one of the very few couples to have married here. When I arrived I expected to find the chapel on the side of the hospital, but infact, it’s actually inside the main building on one of the corridors. We did have NHS staff members stop to watch the ceremony!
After the ceremony, their guests made their way to the bar across the road, whilst I took some cute photos of the two of them in the centre of Leeds. After joining up again, the bus was ready to take everyone on to New Craven Hall for their evening shenanigans.
The beautiful couple chose to have a board game and gin themed wedding! Various games were used in the venue decor, for example, the place names were made from scrabble letters, the seating plan was based on Battleships (that was proper cool!) and the glass coasters were made from Jenga. Gin bottles, craft beer and succulents also played a big part in the styling.
Emily and Fraser, I am thrilled to be part of your New Craven Hall wedding and wish you all the luck in the future!
