Old Barn West Yorkshire Wedding
I was really looking forward to photographing Eletia and Danny’s Old Barn West Yorkshire wedding earlier in June. Eletia and Danny booked me based on my relaxed and natural style of photography as they didn’t fancy lining up for endless group shots. The gorgeous couple chose to keep the rustic theme of the barn, whilst tying this in with a summery, outdoorsy vibe. As they’d previously visited the venue for another friends wedding, they both knew this was the one for them! This was my third visit to The Old Barn in West Yorkshire and I cannot wait for my fourth!
The Old Barn Esholt was once a working 18th century stone barn and today, it still holds most of it’s original features. With wooden beams and high ceilings it’s a popular choice for a rustic, West Yorkshire wedding. The Old Barn is ideally located near to the Woolpack – the original Emmerdale pub and sits within the picturesque village of Baildon, West Yorkshire.
A Nervous Couple
Eletia and Danny booked me for a shorter package, so I started the day with Danny and their guests outside in the garden. It wasn’t long before they were all rushed upstairs for the arrival of Eletia and her bridemaids. Eletia wore a stunning lace gown from Abbey Wedding Warehouse and carried beautiful florals from The Mulberry Tree. I could see the nerves on the couples faces before they were reunited. Once the rings were exchanged, I could tell the two of them had relaxed and started to enjoy the moment. It was at this point they were pronounced husband and wife!
Eletia and Danny, thankyou ever so much for inviting me to be part of your Old Barn, West Yorkshire wedding! Here are the highlights from your day!
“Wow Wow Wow!!! Thank you so much to Stevie for our fantastic wedding pictures we are absolutely in love with them. Stevie has been extremely professional but also very friendly from the first contact we had with her right up to the wedding day itself. We were worried we would be made to pose which is just not us as a couple, but we felt so at ease with Stevie. Nothing was forced and our guests said the same, that’s why our pictures are so great. Thank you so much we can’t thank you enough xx”
