Old Golf House Wedding Photography

I would love to share with you Lucy and Matt’s Old Golf House wedding photography. The Old Golf House is situated just outside of Huddersfield in a little place called Outlane. Having shot their on a few occasions I knew this time I had to try and be creative! Working with a couple of fabulous videographers helps, as we can bounce ideas off each other and help each other out!

I met with Lucy and Matt back in 2016 at a local wedding fair. They certainly made the effort to attend as it was bouncing down with rain! Shortly after meeting, the two of them were in my diary and I was another thing ticked off their list!

I asked them why they booked The Old Golf House and they replied “Because the gardens are so pretty and the staff didn’t push us into booking”

Beautiful Wedding Decorations

Lucy and Matt chose to have a rustic meets summer theme throughout their day and hand made many of the items themselves. Their table plan was put together on a painted wooden pallet using metal buckets and gypsophila! I loved their colour choice of grey and yellow for a summer wedding. The weather didn’t disappoint either, it was beautiful all day!

Relaxed couple photos

I took Lucy and Matt around the grounds of the Old Golf House for their relaxed couple photos. Many of my couples aren’t up for posing, and these two were no different. A short 10 minute session was all we needed to capture the smiles between the two of them!

Here’s a small selection of my favourites from the day! Thankyou to Sadie Ferriday for second shooting and being my awesome assistant!
