Storthes Hall Wedding Photography
Back in June I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Elisa and Adam’s wedding at Storthes Hall Park, Huddersfield. The venue is typically for student accommodation, but they have a funky function room which is often used for weddings and club nights. The modern, fresh decor throughout the venue is pretty unique to Huddersfield and offers something many other local venues don’t. The games room in particular was a hit amongst the guests!
Storthes Hall Park also offers large outdoors spaces suitable for a marquee wedding if you didn’t fancy the indoors. Scroll down to see how Elisa and Adam put their quirky characters into their wedding day!
Castle Hill Huddersfield
Shortly after the ceremony, the three of us headed out into the woodland for some fun, outdoorsy photos. As we walked through, the woodland turned into a meadow which we continued to use for more relaxed photos. We could even see Emley Moor mast through the trees!
Elisa and Adam visit Castle Hill in Huddersfield quite often (as do I!) so it was only right we took another trip up on their wedding day. It will probably come as no shock to you to hear that it was yet again, super windy! After all, it is on top of a hill over looking the town. To be fair, the wind does make for some banging photos! I love it when the wind picks up under the dress and blows your hair around. Some might call it a nightmare, but I just think it makes for more realistic, adventurous images! 🙂
Elisa and Adam, I had a ball with you guys! Thankyou so much for inviting me to be part of your mega day!
