North Yorkshire Tipi Wedding Photography
I’ve been absolutely dying to show you Helen and Will’s relaxed Yorkshire tipi wedding for some time now – well, since August actually, but blogging seems to have taken a bit of a back seat! Whilst we’re not in full on wedding mode, I’ll be taking this time to look over my 2019 weddings and share some of them with you. I know quite a few of you have asked to see some Yorkshire tipi weddings especially – so here we are!
Helen initially enquired with me earlier in the year. She said “We are vibing a boho, outdoorsy, countryside tipi wedding for our big day and love your style of photography. I’ve been following you for a while now on Facebook and would love to have a chat! Sorry to pester you late at night – I got excited!” I LOVE when couples are excited as me, it just makes the whole process so much easier and relaxed! After exchanging a few emails they were booked in and photography was crossed off the list! Hurraaaay!
An Eco-Friendly, Vegan Garden Wedding
After their humanist, hand fasting ceremony at Rudby Hall, the couple and their guests made their way to Helen’s family home, where the 2-hat tipi was erected in their back garden! How lucky to have so much space, right?! Helen and Will incorporated lots of eco friendly and vegan aspects to their day. For example, their wedding cakes were all handmade and vegan (and super cute!). Their decor featured lots of foliage and natural elements, most handmade too. Their flowers came from a local flower farm, which cut out the middle man (or florist). They had vegan food options throughout the day – which by the way, were amazing!
Helen and Will, thank you so much for booking me to capture your EPIC Yorkshire tipi wedding. Here’s my favourite bits 🙂 Thanks to Jamie Sia for second shooting for me.
Helen and Will say:
Stevie captured the most beautiful moments from our wedding day ☺️ everything was very relaxed as we didn’t want a bossy photographer who was going to take us away for hours to get lots of posed shots, it was all super natural and the results were amazing ☺️
